Rural Development

In its efforts towards rural development Bajaj Motors Ltd work towards the developmental gap between rural ‘Bharat’ and Urban India by improving livelihood, addressing poverty, hunger and malnutrition. Key CSR initiatives include:

• Rural development projects of building and maintaining community-based rural infrastructure like roads, drains, rural electrification, water infrasture, etc
• Improving food security and enhancing nutrition
• Improving water conservation and rain-water harvesting
• Providing vocational training to youth especially women to enhance their skills in order to work as skilled labor or run their own small setups to become financially independent
